Both the contemporary Hardy Room and the traditional Garden Room Suite with Victorian conservatory and gardens, make Packfords a great venue for all types of events. Both rooms are set adjacent to the bar lounge allowing a separate space for people to stop and chat.

Once you have booked your event at Packfords we work with you to organise everything you need to make it special.

The Garden Room Suite accommodates from 35 – 80 people for a three course meal or up to 140 people for an informal buffet.

The Hardy Room is ideal for a more intimate gathering, accommodating between 15-35 people for a three course meal, or up to 50 people for an informal buffet.

There is a venue hire charge based on the numbers, length and type of function. We will be happy to give you the appropriate price upon your enquiry.

The Hotel provides a lovely home from home atmosphere for family occasions. Our Afternoon Tea is often served for gatherings such as Christenings and Birthdays and can be taken in the Garden Suite or the Hardy Room. The Conservatory opens onto attractive and mature gardens. This provides a perfect setting, especially in the summer months.

We are often asked to cater for these occasions when perhaps numbers or circumstances make it difficult to provide refreshments at home. Our staff are understanding and able to help guide you through the arrangements at what can be a difficult time.

Traditionally either a light buffet or afternoon tea with unlimited tea and coffee would be served, in accordance with your wishes.
