Weddings
A meeting will be arranged to discuss the finer points of your wedding; number of guests, timings, drinks, flowers, entertainment, colour scheme and table plan. All tables are round, taking a maximum of ten guests, set with fresh napkins and white crockery.

Clients may choose from our selection of banqueting menus or we are more than happy to work with you to create a bespoke menu. Our attractive bar area provides an excellent place to relax and unwind.

We are able to provide a choice of entertainment for your reception from DJs and Jazz Trio's to Swing Quartets. We can provide contact details for our in-house DJ who will liaise with you prior to your big day to organise your choice of music.

Wedding
Packfords Hotel provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding. In the winter months guests are welcomed with a roaring fire and in warmer seasons our mature gardens are the perfect compliment to your reception.

We endeavour to make every event personal and unique. Our experienced, friendly and professional team will take care of the planning arrangements, giving personal detail to even the smallest detail and any special requirements. We aim to ensure the utmost flexibility in the services that we offer you and a personal visit is a must to get a true feeling for the hotel, at which time we will be delighted to meet and discuss your plans.


Civil Ceremonies
The Hotel was one of the first venues in the area to be licensed to hold Marriage Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships. The Hardy Room provides a stylish setting for up to 50 seated guests attending the ceremony.

Function Suites
The Garden Room has a charming Victorian Style conservatory leading onto attractive mature gardens, providing a beautiful backdrop for photography. The bar area is immediately adjacent to the main room. The suite is able to accommodate between 35-80 people for a formal meal and up to 140 for a buffet.

The Hardy Room has a more contemporary yet classic appeal. It is ideal for a weekday Wedding Reception with a seating capacity of 15-35 people and 50 people for a buffet.

Function Suites
There are nine rooms available for you and your guests if required, all are en suite, finished to a high standard and have television, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Full English Breakfast is included in the price.
